Incident Log

A single record is created for each reported incident, against which a history of ensuing actions and involvements can be recorded

This initial record:-

• Allocates an Incident Reference Number

• Records the source and time of the initial contact information

• Classifies the incident

• Allocates the type of incident

• Holds a brief description of the incident together with it location on the Road Network

• Identifies the manager in Charge

• Facilitates the entry and storage of all subsequent direct and third party involvement

• Records the date and time that the incident was closed
